Product-safety information
Each online offer for a physical ProHiver product provides the manufacturer's name and contact details, an image of the product, the type, model, product code or another identifier, and the safety warnings and user information applicable to that product.
Safety and user information is provided in the language or languages required by the law of the target market.
Data generated by ProHiver V1.2
Before purchase, the offer for the specific V1.2 product provides the factual catalogue of data generated by that model. The catalogue matches data actually generated by the device and used by the ProHiver service.
Baseline V1.2 data categories include:
- weight measurements and measurement time;
- battery and device-health information;
- mobile-network signal-strength information;
- only those environmental-sensor data channels actually supported and transmitted by the particular V1.2 device.
Where the pre-contract information requirements of Chapter II of the EU Data Act apply in the particular case, the customer is also given the information about product data and access required by those rules before purchase.
Free access to product data
The user is provided with a free way to obtain their ProHiver product data in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format. The specific delivery format is stated when the data is provided.
A separate paid automated-access service is an additional commercial feature and does not replace the free product-data access route.
Where Chapter II of the EU Data Act applies in the particular case and provides the relevant right, users are also informed how to request that data be made available to a third party chosen by them.
Legal guarantee of conformity
Consumer rights concerning conformity of goods apply under mandatory law. If a separate commercial guarantee is offered for a specific product, its terms are provided separately and it does not limit the consumer’s statutory rights.
